Registered Clinical Counsellor

Thrive Now Physiotherapy is looking for a Registered Clinical Counsellor to join our team! As an RCC, you play an integral part of your patient’s health. Our healthcare clinic offers a wide range of therapies, including physiotherapy, massage therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health, kinesiology, and more. You’ll be joining a team of highly accredited individuals, many of whom offer hard-to-find therapies, such as scoliosis and craniosacral therapy.
Please note: This is a remote position but closed to applicants with certifications outside of the province of BC. Additionally, though remote, you will have access to our fantastic Customer Care Team for help, and our team of practitioners for collaboration on mutual patients’ care.

You offer…
- Master's degree in counselling or a related field from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Registration through the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) as an RCC.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical counselling post-Master's
- Current Vendor with ICBC and/or WorkSafe BC or the ability to be.
- Exceptional work ethic
- The ability to diffuse stressful or distressing situations with patients struggling with mental wellness
- A desire to work with other professionals in our clinic for the goal of ultimate patient care
- Experience with the following populations considered an asset: Veterans, first responders (RCMP, Police, Army, Firefighters, Nurses, Paramedics) shift workers, trauma, and/or addictions.
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultural practices and/or proficiency in a second language is an asset
- Personable and friendly communication
- Relationship building with patients and their families, with ongoing check-ins and updated patient reports
- A desire to grow your career with the right team
- Skills with computers, modern software, and social media
- Access to stable and secure internet, as this position is remote
