Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) is a dry needling technique, evolved by Dr. Chan Gunn in Vancouver BC. It is extremely useful in chronic conditions, where the pain or dysfunction has lasted long beyond normal healing timelines.

The Gunn IMS technique uses acupuncture needles to release tight bands in muscles in both extremity and spinal musculature, to assist in decompressing nerves and restarting the healing process.
