Registered Interim Physiotherapist
What can I do for you?
As a physiotherapist, I strive to help you meet your goals – whatever they may be. With everyone I work with, I aim to incorporate a collaborative approach so that you feel comfortable with your treatment plan and confident that it is right for you. I ask a lot of questions and am thorough in my assessments to ensure that we are addressing the root cause of any issue you come into clinic with. I enjoy employing a variety of physiotherapy techniques to best meet your needs including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise prescription. With that being said, I do believe that physiotherapy should be an active-based treatment where client engagement in their care is crucial for improvement.
How else can I help you?
I have a keen interest in learning and continuous development (how can I not after spending 20+ years in school?). If there are any treatments approaches, conditions, diseases, or disorders that I am unfamiliar with, I will work hard to research best practices to provide you with the highest quality physiotherapy care possible. With such a talented and knowledgeable group of health care professionals at the Thrive Now clinics, I feel confident that through collaboration, we can create a treatment plan that works best for you and gets you back to what you love.
Want to know a little bit more about me?
Prior to completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria, I spent 18 years living in 7 different countries. Having moved around so much I have developed the travel bug and, as soon as COVID allows, I will be travelling to explore new places and cultures. Having been to quite a few different countries, I feel so lucky to call the beautiful and adventure-filled Vancouver Island my home! Outside the clinic I stay active through weightlifting, hiking, bicycling, and playing lots of different sports!"
